Interesting Walton High School Foreclosure
June 10th, 2009 . by Knox BardeenOne of the questions I get quite a bit from potential buyers goes something like this. “How can I cheaply get into the Walton High School district”.
There isn’t an easy answer to this question as this is one of the most sought after school districts in Cobb County.
I did, however, just come across this interesting foreclosure property.
The house is in the East Cobb golf course community of Indian Hills. It’s a three bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom split-level home on a little under a third of an acre.
The home is a foreclosure and is listed at $218,900. In the past (March of 2007) the home sold for $330,000 and I can remember a few years back when tear-downs in Indian Hills were going for more that $218,900.
If you would like more information about this East Cobb foreclosure in Indian Hills or if you’d like pictures of the property or a chance to see the inside, please use the contact form to get in touch with me.

this sounds like a really good foreclosure deal, and from how you described the property - sounds like it’s in pretty good condition.
I think i know someone i can refer you to. will send them your link, thanks this for he useful information
Thanks for the hat tip. I think this is great, and I think you are right about the consumer winning as well. It’s about time we caught up with the rest of the big markets as far as .
Knox, Your post caught my eye (as usual) about Walton High district foreclosures. I am having a really hard time finding foreclosures in other Atlanta premier school districts. For example last time I checked there are zero available foreclosures homes in Vanderlyn School district. Although, we just listed a good one in Sarah Smith, I am seeing very few super steals there either. Maybe the good deals are getting scooped up quick and all the bad press for foreclosures and short sales does not really sum all of the current Atlanta Real Estate Market. Have a great night and thanks again for the informative posts.
Cheers,
Ian

It’s really good deal. I think If you are set on public schools, your budget would easily get you into the better neighborhoods of the Walton High School cluster.
Great post on foreclosure property. I need to know more from your blog.
Thanks.
it is great article thanks for sharing
This is good very deal. I agree that in the past you wouldn’t be able to find tear down in the Indian Hills for this price.
Amazing how much school districts can drive up real estate prices
We are born ignorant, and everything we know we know by discovery. But discovery is a process. It takes place through time. At any particular point in time, we may have to decide about something when our knowledge is incomplete.
It looks like a good time to buy real estate in your area. We have a number of bank foreclosures in Bend Oregon. I hope your have a good year.
