V At Vinings: Mixed Use Development Planned In Vinings
October 29th, 2007 . by Knox BardeenA mixed use development is in the planning phase for Vinings called V at Vinings. The project is currently pending while rezoning is considered. Here are some of the proposed details:
- 78,000 square feet of retail space
- 82,000 square feet of office space
- 300 residential units (150 of them being senior living)
- 518,500 square feet of additional office space for future development
- Construction, if approved, would not be completed until 2014.

Its good to see this Marietta/Atlanta suburb coming into its own. Opportunities to increase the supply of homes available to working families, particularly when implemented in conjunction with an inclusionary zoning will continue to allow this growing community to support sustainable, and therefore healthy growth.

I think it will work for good. 2014 is not the nerest time, but at leat it is something. Development and growth are always welcome
