New Mixed Use Development Planned Near Cumberland Mall
May 29th, 2007 . by Knox BardeenTwo major developers are planning a $300 mixed use project which will assemble 22 acres of land near Cumberland Mall and the new Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The plan calls for redevelopment of the area around Riverwood 100. In addition to the 505,000 square feet of office space already in place at Riverwood 100, an additional 500,000+ square feet of class A space is planned.
90,000 square feet of retail, 360 condos and 40 lofts are also planned for the new project, which should begin construction in mid 2008.
