Vinings May Seek Cityhood

The Vinings Homeowners Association has set up a public meeting for October 16th to discuss whether or not to start the process of becoming a city. With the recent development of the historic Vinings area, as well as the Cumberland Mall district, many Vinings homeowners are concerned that they have the future of Vinings closer to heart than the Cobb County Commissioners.

    What are the implications financially for West Village and surrounding developments, IF Vinings becomes a city, separate from Cobb? Will their property tax go up for townhomes around West Village?
